HIGHLAND SCHOTTISCHE a story of the 8th Argylls
POW STALAG XXA TORUN (Thorn) Poland

book.jpg

The book Highland Schottische deals heavily with Stalag XXA in its final chapters. It depicts life at the camp and in the satellite work camps, the passing of the years and the horrendous march towards freedom in Germany in the winter of 1945. It also describes the manner in which the men of the 51st Highland Division became prisoners in 1940. Feel free to e-mail me if you wish to comment, disagree or ask for help in finding details of one of your menfolk. Go to www.highlandschottische.com

I am sure that's not the memory of the prisoners.
